Wheel unbalance or imbalance, describes the distribution of weight within the tire and/or the wheel to which it is attached to. When the tire rotates, asymmetry of weight causes the tire and wheel to.
Out-of-balance tires will cause a car to vibrate at certain speed the faster the vehicle is travelling the more vibration. A tire is out of balance when one section of the tire is heavier than the others. A small change in weight in one of the tires is enough to cause a noticeable vibration in the steering wheel at about 60 km. If you feel the vibration mostly in the steering wheel, the problem is most likely in a front wheel. If the vibration is mostly in the seat, the problem is probably in the rear.
